Hi, this is Alice hailin' from Long Island, NY. I'm 22 years old with 14 years of musical experience, which include piano, violin, singing a cappella and arranging music. Although my training has mainly been classical, Jambox has been a great place to explore my other musical interests. My involvement in music has taken me to the west coast, Canada, Scandinavia, and East Asia but it certianly feels good to be groovin' it here in the heart of New York.

*03 Interns (L to R):
Vit, Jason, David, Monica, Elvin

Hey my name is Shine and I am an intern here at Jambox. My desire to intern here came from my love for music. I am 22 now, and have been involved with writing and recording hip hop music since I was about 14. There have been so many influences in my life from my parents, to artists such as Nas, my own friends, and now the people here at Jambox.

Name: Stephanie Callender Age: 20 From: Brooklyn, NY Highlights: One of the highlights of the job is that you get to meet some intersting people. What I learned at Jambox: One of things that I learned here is ALWAYS triple check everything you do and write everything down! Another thing would be, how to do 10 things at once (and get them done right!)

Name: Vitantonio "Vit" DeBellis Nickname: Big Daddy
Sexy, the Italian Kid Age: 20 Hometown: Rochester, NY Goals: To someday
manage my own record label and to give new talent a chance to shine…and
of course to get paid!! High Point at Jambox: Watching Lee march through
downtown Manhattan with fake breasts.
What I learned at Jambox: Aside from the technical aspects (how to use an
ASR, Korg Triton, and information gained during the AET course), I also
learned valuable work ethic. As put by Cathy, an employee needs to stand
out in his or her workplace and have a certain level of iniative to succeed.

Name:: David Balogun Age: 21 Hometown: Brooklyn,
New York Career goal: I want to someday own a big studio and be a producer
in the hip-hop genre. Highlight at Jambox: When Lee trusted me to fix the
mixer in studio A. That was the first time I was left alone to do a task
with his equipment.
Lowlight at Jambox: Well I was supposed to call up an AET student and let
him know that the first class was to be in session the next day. I neglected
to call his house. So on the day of the class, he was the only student that
didn't show up. Cathy called his home and he tells her he never got a message
informing him of the class. Cathy was so mad at me; I knew I messed up big
time.

Hi, I'm Elvin AKA EL, and I'm an intern at JAMBOX RECORDING STUDIO. I live in Long Island, but go to school in Albany. My goals in life are to have a big family, be successful and run my own business that revolves around fashion. A highlight of working at JAMBOX was to work with such talented people, and also see how a recording studio is really run.

warm smile
