Rogue Music is a legendary music retailer and distributor of new and used equipment in NYC. After coming into existence 26 years ago at 251 West 30th Street 10th Floor, Rogue Music has now relocated to a newly renovated street-level store front at 220 30th Street. Their move was not far but it has involved a big change. “To be on the street makes coming to work everyday interesting,” says Clay Chalem, a floor manager.
Rogue Music serves musicians of all genres from rockers to hip-hoppers. Some celebrities that Rogue has served include: Billy Joel, The Beastie Boys, Grand Master Flash, P. Diddy, Michael Jackson, Irv Gotti, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Oasis, and that’s just to name a few.
Their new location is great for just popping in and asking a question. They are real excited about being easily accessible to the public and closer to JAMBOX Recording Studios which is right around the corner.
