Lee Evans is a Gold Album/award winning Producer/Songwriter/Engineer/Musician
and a long time veteran of the music industry. With over 30 years
background in the music industry, starting as a child, Lee Evans
wrote, arranged, played piano and sang for young harmony group “The
Fourth Edition” a group that went on to win amateur night
at the Apollo a whopping 6 times, sharing the stage with the
likes of Michael Jackson, James Brown, and other legends. After
attending such notable schools as "The High School Of Music & Art
(NYC)" Lee Evans set out on his musical life journey. As
a keyboardist, Lee became a band member and musical director.
In his early years he performed with many local bands and frequently
led top recording with acts such as “The Jimmy Castor Bunch” “Brass
Construction” The
Force MDs, “New Edition” “Afrikaa Bambaataa”, “Willie
Colon” “Johnny Gill” “Kleer” “Bionic
Boogie” “Joe Simon” “The Coasters”.
On the local scene he did a stint as the house band keyboard player.
Here he backed up such notable artists like Johnny Kemp, Me'lissa
Morgan, and Keith Sweat.
Lee Evans' many accomplishments include his work with popular artists
in the early stages of his career, "Cindi Lauper", "Marc
Anthony", "Afrikaa Bambaataa", "Harry Belafonte", "The
Force MDs", "Brass Construction", and a long list
of dance Hip Hop and “latin freestyle” favorites from
the ‘80’s and early 90’s. During this time, Mr.
Evans became a familiar face in the most prominent NYC studios and
earned recognition as a one of NYC’s top multi-keyboardist
/ producer /songwriter / engineers. Lee's writing and production
work on the 80's hip hop movie 'Beat Street' earned him a gold album
Lee Evans started JAMBOX Entertainment in the Bronx in the '80s but
inc'd it in 1992 with co'owner Cathy Palmisano. In 1989, He co-founded
501C3 non profit org. "Reach Out Inc" along with President
Lori Michaels, and Executive Director Cathy Palmisano. Mr Evans became
Musical Director. Reach Out Inc.s name is derived from a song called "Reach
Out" written and produced by Lee Evans.
In 1998 Mr Evans started the popular AET Audio Engineering Course.
which has help hundreds of aspiring artists, engineers, producers,and
djs elevate their careers.
Currently Mr. Evans is the CEO and co-owner of JAMBOX Entertainment,
head instructor of the AET Audio Engineering Course, chief mastering
engineer for CD Mstering NYC.com, partner of 4sight music production
and music director for Reach Out Inc.

Administrative Director
In 1992 Ms. Palmisano became co-owner and Administrative Director
of JAMBOX Entertainment & Recording Studios. Ms. Palmisano was
instrumental in the management & artist development of many upcoming
artists, including REFORM Records recording artist, Lori Michaels.
Ms. Palmisano is a co'founder and was instrumental in the formation & development
of the non-profit organization, REACH OUT, Inc, and has served as
its Executive Director for over 20 years. REACH OUT, Inc. has touched
the lives of over 3 million people and because of the level of Ms.
Palmisano's administrative work, she has helped make REACH OUT a
stand out nation wide non-profit organization throughout its progression.
In 2006 Ms. Palmisano co-founded 4SIGHT Music Productions which
went on to produce the classic album “Year Of The Cowboy” by
NYC Times Square icon, The Naked Cowboy.
Ms. Palmisano started and currently directs the educational careers
internship program at JAMBOX. Due to her efforts, JAMBOX Entertainment
has become a contender for top recording studios in NYC.

Urban Music Audio Engineer
R.e.a.P is the embodiment of today’s Audio Engineer. Young,
fresh, with a cool urban edge. With the hunger for knowledge he went
to JAMBOX Recording Studios as a top graduate from The Institute
of Audio Research. Within a short time he was getting requested for
session work and rose quickly amongst the ranks. R.e.a.P is now one
of JAMBOX’s top Audio Engineers and Instructors for The AET
Audio Enginnering Course and Recording Connection.
R.e.a.P has worked with some of JAMBOX’s top clients, such

Taylor is a strong, skilled, and passionate Engineer, Producer, Singer, Songwriter, and Musician. She was an honors graduate from the Institute of Audio Research '08 and graduated from Emerson College in 2011 majoring in Sound Design and Audio Post Production with a minor in Music Appreciation. She has been trained in Recording Engineering and Live Sound as well as Sound Design, Post Production, and Performance.
One of her specialties is offering a unique bridge between artist and engineer. It is important to her to help artists have a great in-studio experience while recording the best tracks possible. If you are looking for an efficent, comfortable, and productive session; she's the one for you.

Assistant Studio Manager/House Engineer
Zephrah Soto is one of JAMBOX's uniquely talented House Engineers. She is also a singer/songwriter who loves to help others create music. Currently, she is a student at New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music as a Producer Entrepreneur. She plays guitar, keyboard, ukulele, and tambourine. Zephrah has performed at many venues, including Carnegie Hall with TV on the Radio for a Rolling Stones tribute, the United Nations with Beyonce, The Highline Ballroom, the Brooklyn Bowl, where her choir opened up for The Roots and Erykah Badu, and other big venues.
Zephrah is a well-rounded musician, singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and audio engineer with a vast knowledge of music theory, music history, and sight reading. Be in her presence and prepare to be Zephrahnated!

Beatmaker Mike Sabri, also known as DJ Sabri, is JAMBOX's newest in-house beatmaker/audio engineer. Originally from Great Falls, Virginia, he has been composing his own beats for about 10 years. While attending school, he worked as a DJ at Bent Willeys, the largest nightclub in West Virginia, where he fine tuned his ear for today's music. DJ Sabri then mastered the craft of beatmaking at Cue Recording Studios in Washington, D.C. He then moved to New York City to become a full-time music producer at JAMBOX.
He currently works with many up and coming local artists, recording, mixing, and composing original beats, making his magic happen right in front of his clients. DJ Sabri is a skilled pianist, with a very melodic and unique style, specializing in Hip Hop, Dance Pop, R&B and Electronica. He recently competed against many top beatmakers in the NYC "iStandard Producer Showcase" at Webster Hall and took 2nd Place. |

SCHOOL TOURS DIRECTOR/ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Alisa Smith is a musician and crafter who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry and Performance from Ramapo College of New Jersey. As a member of the international award winning choirs Skylark, CantaNOVA, and the Ramapo Chorale, Alisa has toured Guam, the Philippines, and Costa Rica. As an alum, she volunteered as a carpenter for the Ramapo College theater department and helped build the sets for their productions, and has worked stage crew as an electrical and lighting stagehand for the Bruce Springsteen Wrecking Ball Tour.
As a performer, Alisa has shared the stage with folksinger/songwriter Judy Collins, nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul, and has performed for international ambassadors including the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic at the United Nations. She has also played clarinet in a variety of local and college theater productions. Alisa’s love for the arts and activism has lead her to pursue her Master’s degree in Media Studies at The New School University. |

Catherine aka "CÁTHIA" is a singer from the Bronx, NY. Known as the "little girl with a big voice," she discovered her passion for music at age six. Right now, you can catch "CÁTHIA" on Season 4 of
NBC's The Voice.
Catherine is a graduate from LaGuardia Performing Arts HS(the "Fame" School). She is a clasically trained singer, as well as a talented songwriter and musician.
Catherine has performed on many great stages around NYC, including the renowned Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, and in 2012,she was accepted as an X Factor Contestant where she got the opportunity to meet L.A. Reid, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, and Britney Spears.
Catherine also moonlights as a session vocalist at JAMBOX for producers and artists. She recently started giving vocal lessons at JAMBOX and enjoys helping others reach their full potential as vocalist.
She studies Music Business at Baruch College and is excited to learn more about the music industry and collaborate with musicians at JAMBOX. |
VANESSA NIMONS

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST
"Get to know me, I'm amazing."
What she lacks in musical talent, Vanessa makes up for with
her dazzling personality. Although not much of a musician, Vanessa
has had no trouble fitting into the creative world of JAMBOX.
With a quirky sense of humour and her million dollar voice, Vanessa
has become the burst of sunshine and all things warm and fuzzy
at JAMBOX. CAUTION: speaking with Vanessa may result in elevated
mood, permanent smile, and a warm and fuzzy feeling.

MAURICIO BATTISTELLA

MUSICIAN/HOUSE ENGINEER/COMPUTER TECH
Mauricio came to the USA in 2011. His music career started from a young age; his fondness of music came when he would see his father playing the keyboard, and at the age of 7, he began teaching himself the basics of keyboard and music. At the age of 14, he began playing guitar and was trained as a classical/spanish guitarist. By 17, he was accepted into the Conservatory of Music in Sydney to major in guitar. Although he was under age at 17 and still a minor, Mauricio was gigging in clubs with his father in a salsa band as a percussionist (congas).
At the age of 21 he decided to give music production a try. Since then he, has produced music for TV, film, and has worked with unsigned and nominated artists back home in Australia. You can now see Mauricio gigging with his band, "Highly Innappropriate" in different venues in NYC.

Ana Nedeljkov aka "ANN
ANN" is a classically trained singer and pianist,
born and raised in Serbia, Europe. She
started playing the piano at the age
of five. Soon after that, Ana
was sent
to music primary school where she
obtained both classical and jazz vocal
training.
She is currently working on
her debut album which will focus on recreating the meaning
of POP.
ANN ANN performed
and shared the stage with musicians from various genres and
parts of the world: Tania Maria and Viva Brazil Quartet,
Stereo Mc’s, New Young Pony
Club, Jessie J, M.I.A, etc.

Alex Started DJing at 11 years old, completed Scratch DJ Academy in downtown manhattan. In the process of DJing the next couple of years, started to compose instrumentals (beat making) as well as started writing poetry. Soon enough the poetry turned into songs. Now going by the stage name of (DJ) Mazement who is considered an artist/songwriter, composer & assistant audio engineer after completing a Recording Connection course, and Jambox's own AET Audio Engineering course.
Currently Alex is rapping in a DubStep group "Divinity Low", as well as working on his solo career. Has done performances at places such as Sullivan Hall, The Inkwell, & many more ranging from New York to Las Vegas.Worked with artists such as Donny Goines, Sterling 8 to DJ Rob Swift. In addition to his devotion to working at JAMBOX, and focussing on his own music, He has an extreme passion to help others grow as well. |

ASSISTANT ENGINEER
Alexandra Brick, aka “Brick”, is JAMBOX’s newest assistant engineer. Brick is only nineteen years old, but never let age fool you. She graduated with honors from the Institute of Audio Research. From the age of fourteen, Brick has dabbled in freelance for creative services which involved her writing a few songs for the Dora the Explorer video game as well as coming up with ideas for Direct TV commercials. Her most recent accomplishment before being accepted to the JAMBOX team was working on the HBO Latino documentary, “The Portrait of a Fighter.”
Her first love, or maybe obsession, has always been music. At the age of ten, she taught herself how to play the guitar and piano and later on started to play the drums. Always interested in song writing, Brick has a whole library of songs she has composed. As she has grown older, she loves to produce her own electronic music and collaborate with others. Her other interests include writing poetry, traveling, art, and always trying to discover as many new things as she can with everything she does. |
