JAMBOX Gets Down With The LGBT Community
Premiers Smokin' Hot "DJ Stacy Radio Show"

JAMBOX keeps it hot with the popular, weekly, lesbian radio show by DJ Stacy. The world premier of the DJ Stacy Show happened right here at JAMBOX Studios in August and has been going strong ever since! JAMBOX's Michael Rivera (pictured below) engineered and Edwin Solano assisted. Our own Lori Michaels attended the world premiere and a fun time was had by all. As part of girlscenenyc.com, the radio show covers new events, songs, videos, digs, and "everything else under the sun" geared specifically for New York's lesbian community. JAMBOX Graduates its Latest Group of AET Students

JAMBOX would like to extend best wishes to Matt, Anthony, Tomika, Jave, and Hubert for an exciting, audio-enhanced future with all of their musical pursuits. Over a period of 3 months, the students learned in a hands-on environment the ins and outs of recording, mixing, mastering, production, and more! Head instructor Lee Evans exclaims, "We had a rocking class--it was hot. Our students were bursting with talent and energy, and I can't wait to see what they do with their new skills."

JAMBOX Is a Hit 'Down Under'

Something new and exciting is going on all the time at JAMBOX! Recently, the JAMBOX family stretched across the globe with multiple artists from Australia making JAMBOX their NUMBER ONE destination in New York City for audio recording and production. Pictured above is Michael Kelly who flew to New York from Australia to take a special, private AET Audio Engineering Course with head instructor Lee Evans. JAMBOX also had the pleaure of working with Zelda, another fellow Aussie who connected with us at JAMBOX & Moomia's Open Mic Showcase over the summer. Zelda stepped into our studios to record a demo song to bring home with her. We are happy that she is pursuing her lifelong dream of being a singer/songwriter.

Last but not least, JAMBOX created a masterpiece with, you guessed it, another Australian, Warwick Edwards. Warwick was in town to record an original song he wrote about 9/11. Written by Warwick and produced by JAMBOX' own Drew Chap and Jen Xea, the song is an emotional anthem that pays tribute to America's courage following tragedy. The wonderful experiences we've had with these artists makes JAMBOX proud that the family is growing not just here in NYC, but nationally and globally as well.

JAMBOX's "Gift of Song" special proves popular for birthday parties of all ages! This past week, JAMBOX had the pleasure of celebrating Ricki's 16th, Michael's 25th, and Idan's 30th birthday. All guests had the once in a lifetime experience of recording a song of their choice in the studios at JAMBOX with one of our own audio engineers. After belting it out in the vocal booths, the guests enjoyed a fun, upbeat celebration in our studio lounge. At thet end of the day, the guests all went home with customized music CD's of their own to document a memorable, fun-filled birthday.

for MTV Video Music Award!

JAMBOX is ecstatic that one of our own clients, Moses, received a nomination for an MTV Video Music Award! His band, New York-based Blaq Star put a new spin on '70s disco with the video, "Shining Star." The video is nominated under the category, "Best Performance in a Pepsi Rock Band Video."
